​Qujiang Pool Relic Park is located in the southeast of Qujiang New District. Zhang Jinqiu, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, is responsible for the planning and design of Qujiang Pool site. With historical water system and cultural relics exploration results, it is constructed based on the Qujiang Pool site of Qin, Han, Sui and Tang Dynasties. Relied on the culture of the prosperous Tang Dynasty and the water resources of Qujiang Pool, this park forms an urban ecological landscape belt, which constitutes a new symbol of the humanities in Xi’an. It has become an exemplar in urban modernization as well as historical heritage protection. It vividly reproduces the humanistic landscape pattern of water and mountains in Tang Dynasty,and creates another new picture for the ancient capital Xi’an, provides a humanistic, natural, recreational and harmonious urban complex for citizens and tourists.
