Xi'an Tang Paradise is a national 5A large relic cultural scenic spot that comprehensively displays the style and appearance of the Tang Dynasty. It is located in Qujiang New District, Xi’an, Shaanxi Province.
All the buildings in the park were designed by Ms. Zhang Jinqiu, and the landscaping was designed by Kuan Akiyama, a Japanese design master.
Today's Tang Paradise was built on the site of the original Tang Dynasty Furong Garden. With the background of “immersing in history, feeling the humanities, experiencing life”, Tang Paradise shows the splendid civilization of the great Tang Dynasty. While strolling in the Tang Paradise, you can appreciate the tall classical architecture and the shimmering waves. It seems that since the moment you step through the gates, you have turned back time and space to Tang Dynasty.
The landscape of the park is divided into 14 cultural theme areas, representing the splendid culture of the Tang Dynasty from the aspects of emperor, female, poetry, imperial examination, tea culture, song and dance, diet, folklore, diplomacy, Buddhism, Taoism, children's entertainment, gate landscape, water show performance, etc. The pavilions in the garden are carved with many attractions, including the Purple Cloud Tower, the Maiden Pavilion, the Imperial Banquet Hall, the Tang Paradise Hotel, the Phoenix Nine Days Theatre, the Apricot Garden, the Lu Yu Tea House, the Tang Market, etc. With its unique charm and unparalleled historical position, the Tang Paradise has become a cultural ancestral home for Chinese descendants to seek roots and a spiritual home to review the prosperous times. It is known as "the garden of Chinese history, spirit, nature, humanities and arts".
