Chasing Dreams in the Tang Dynasty is a large-scale vivid musical fountain show to be launched in the Tang Paradise. It is a new concept of cultural and entertainment product with Xi’an Qujiang characteristics of “day tour, and night shows”. The show is directed by Sha Xiaolan, a national producer and created by Wang Xing, the executive director of The Most Memorable is Hangzhou Gala in G20 Hangzhou Summit and 8 minutes performance of Beijing Winter Olympics. Based on the magnificent landscape of Furong Garden, the show combines the culture of the Tang Dynasty with the participation of tourists. Through the interpretation of scenes and stories and the use of various new technologies, the show attempts to connect the audience’s state of mind with the actual environment of the show for a new experience of “cruising for dreams”.
The auditorium adopts the form of “cruise ship performance experience”, with a total of five cruise ships and 800 seats, each of which can accommodate 160 spectators.
